What is a GST Invoice?

A GST (Goods and Services Tax) invoice is a legal document issued by a registered supplier to a buyer in India. It contains details of goods or services sold, along with the applicable GST tax breakdown (CGST, SGST, or IGST). GST invoices are mandatory for all taxable supplies and are required for claiming Input Tax Credit (ITC).
